Das Naïa Museum ist ein Museum und eine Galerie in der Bretagne von Frankreich. Das fantastische und visionäre Reich von Naïa befindet sich mitten im Schloss und Park von Rochefort-en-Terre. Ausgestellt werden hier visionäre, phantastische und surreale Skulpturen, Gemälde, kinetische Werke, Fotografien, Illustrationen und vieles mehr.
Yvette's Skulptur "Mater Dei", einst für die internationale BIO-woman Ausstellung fabriziert, hat in diesem einzigartigen Museum seinen Platz gefunden.
Die private Museumsgalerie ist 500 m² groß und in 6 Räume unterteilt, darunter mittelalterliche unterirdische Räume, ein prächtiger Garten und eine sehr ausgefallene Boutique.
Naia Museum
The Naïa Museum is a museum and gallery located in Brittany, France. Located by the castle of Rochefort-en-Terre, the fantastic and visionary universe of Naïa exhibits sculptures, paintings, kinetic works, photographies, illustrations and much more. Yvette's sculpture "Mater Dei", once produced for the international exhibit BIO-woman, will be on display at this unique museum.
This private museum-gallery covers 500 m² and is divided into 6 rooms, including a medieval underground, a gorgeous garden and a speciality art and gift shop.
Das Naïa wurde im April 2015 nach einer Absprache zwischen dem Bürgermeister von Rochefort-en-Terre und den beiden Künstlern Manu Van H. und dem Metallbildhauer Patrice "Pit" Hubert eröffnet.
Ende 2014 bot die Gemeinde ihnen an, die Räumlichkeiten des bis noch 2011 vorhandenem Heimatmuseums zu beziehen und ein neues Kunstmuseum zu leiten. Patrice und Manu haben die Herausforderung angenommen und stellen seither 77 internationale Künstler und mehr als 200 Werke aus.
The Naïa opened its doors in April 2015, after an encounter between the mayor of Rochefort-en-Terre and two artists, Manu Van H, painter-drawer, and Patrice "Pit" Hubert, metal sculptor. At the end of 2014, the municipality offered them to move into the premises occupied by the heritage museum until 2011, and to co-direct this private museum.
Patrice and Manu have taken up the challenge and are exhibiting 77 international artists and more than 200 works this year, for the 4th season.
Es gibt eine weitere wichtige Person, die den Ort und seinen Geist zu Beginn des 20. Jahrhunderts beeinflusste. Ihr Spitzname war "Naïa", die Hexe von Rochefort-en-Terre, die bekanntermaßen in den Ruinen der Burg lebte. Autor Laut Charles Géniaux lernte sie 1899 kennen und schrieb über sie .
Sie wurde als Schamanin gesehen, die die Fähigkeit hatte in die Zukunft zu sehen und keinen Schmerz empfand. Als Tochter einer Heilerin kannte sie die medizinischen Heilkräfte von Pflanzen. There is another important figure who marked the places and spirits of the villagers at the beginning of the 20th century. Her nickname is "Naïa", the witch of Rochefort-en-Terre, known to live in the ruins of the castle. According to Charles Géniaux, author who met her and wrote about her in 1899, she is perceived as a shaman capable of ubiquity, reading the future and not feeling pain. Daughter of a healer, she is cultivated and knows the powers of plants, which makes her a healer.
A popular and marginal figure at the same time, it is symbolically that Patrice and Manu decided to take back her name to baptize the museum.
