Finally the time has come! The 360 ° tour of the Sulamith Wülfing exhibition was brought into shape by Excit3d and is running online. Now everyone can experience the virtual walk through the content-rich exhibition at the Güterhallen in Solingen (at Atelier Pestprojekt by Peter Amann). The variety of art works by the exhibiting international and regional artists can be clicked on and zoomed in. Simply follow the arrows!
Endlich ist es soweit! Die 360° Tour der Sulamith Wülfing Ausstellung wurde von der Firma Excit3d GmbH in Form gebracht und online geschaltet. Spielerisch leicht erlebt man hier den virtuellen Gang durch die inhaltsreiche Ausstellung in den Güterhallen in Solingen (Atelier Pestprojekt von Peter Amann). Die Werke der ausstellenden Künstler sind anklickbar und werden herangezoomt. Einfach den Pfeilen folgen!
On November 9th, 2021 the opening of the exhibition "120 Years Sulamith Wülfing" took place with the famous artist herself as the central theme. The planning and preparations for this event went on for a year, including many cancellations, cutbacks, rescheduling and constant changes of corona safety measures. I have to admit that there were moments of desperation and giving up. Shortly before the exhibition, there was the biggest hurdle to overcome, namely the city's new stipulation, allowing only vaccinated and those who had recovered access to the exhibition. Therefore, at short notice, some guests were no longer able to visit the exhibition as planned, which I am very sorry about.
Nevertheless, the event turned into a successful evening with many friendly guests, new exciting encounters, enchanting live music from Loop Dreams and Inga Eichler's Jazz Quartet Endeevior and plenty interesting conversations. Since many of you could not appear at the opening, we decided to extend the exhibition until the beginning of December. This means that you can visit the exhibition every Sunday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. or simply make an appointment by calling 0212/18536.
Am 9.11.2021 fand die Eröffnung der Ausstellung "120 Jahre Sulamith Wülfing" mit der Künstlerin selbst als das zentrale Thema statt. Ein Jahr lang liefen die Planungen und Vorbereitungen zu diesem Event, unter anderem mit vielen Absagen, Abstrichen, Umplanungen und einem ständigen Corona-Massnahmen Hin und Her. Ich muss zugestehen, dass es auf halber Strecke Momente der Verzweiflung gab. Auch ganz kurz vor Beginn der Ausstellung ergab sich die grösste Hürde, nämlich die neuen Auflagen der Stadt Solingen, die besagten dass nur noch Geimpfte und Genesene die Ausstellung besuchen durften. Daher konnten kurzfristig einige Gäste die Ausstellung nicht mehr wie geplant besuchen, was mir heute noch sehr Leid tut.
Dennoch kristallisierte sich der Event zu einem gelungener Abend mit vielen freundlichen Gästen, neuen spannenden Begegnungen, berauschender Live Musik von Loop Dreams und Inga Eichler's Jazz Quartett Endeevior und vielen interessanten Gesprächen. Da viele von euch nicht zur Eröffnung erscheinen konnten, haben wir uns entschlossen die Ausstellung bis Anfang Dezember zu verlängern. Somit kann man jeden Sonntag von 14 bis 18 Uhr die Ausstellung begehen oder einen Termin unter dieser Telefonnummer 0212 / 18536 vereinbaren.

Nicht nur über die teilnehmenden Künstler sondern auch über Wülfing selbst und welchen Einfluss die weltbekannte Elberfelder Künstlerin zum Beispiel auf die internationale Music Szene hatte.
